“Nativity Academy is an independent Catholic middle School that transforms the lives of students who have a commitment to achievement and whose families demonstrate financial need.”

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
Our academic program is based on the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Louisville. Nativity has accreditation in Kentucky as a non-public school, and all facets of the program are taught in gender specific classes. In addition to the core academic subjects, our experiential learning component includes field trips, workshops, and guest speakers.
EXTENDED ENRICHMENT PROGRAM (EEP)
After regular school hours, the students' afternoons are fill by the Extended Enrichment Program. EEP includes both an hour of supervised study hall or tutoring, and an hour of enrichment activities that includes activities such as chess, rock climbing and painting.
GRADUATE SUPPORT PROGRAM
The Graduate Support Program is designed to support Nativity graduates through high school and into post secondary education. All activities are facilitated by adult staff, mentors, and volunteers who have positive relationships with program participants and their families.

If you listen carefully, you’ll hear the sound of dreams taking flight here at Nativity Academy! We have so many wonderful success stories to share with you right now, starting with Nativity’s first college graduate, Felisha Lovett, who graduated this past May from Hanover College as a Communications major and triple minor! Felisha is the first of many students you will see come out of Nativity Academy’s rigorous school and programming: a bright, passionate student committed to achievement. Having our first four-year college graduate is an important milestone for Nativity Academy, and Felisha is a shining role model for our current and future students.

Do you have a skill to share with our children? We need volunteers for school and fund-raising events, school upkeep and classroom projects. For more information on how you can help, simply call 502-855-3300, and tell the person who answers that you want information on becoming a volunteer.

Funding Needs
The families of the children at Nativity pay only a small amount per month in tuition. We must raise every other dollar it takes to provide hope for our children: hope to reach beyond the poverty and struggles that have plagued them; hope to truly succeed in school for the first time; hope for a better way of life through the education they receive.
One of the ways you can help is through Child Sponsorship. Donors make a commitment to "sponsor" a student for the three years they are at Nativity. To sponsor a child fully for one year we request $10,000. The cost to sponsor a student for one year for the academic portion is only $5,000. Student sponsors may meet their students, have opportunities to visit the school, and receive regular updates on their progress.
There are other ways to help beyond child sponsorship. A gift of $100 will help us purchase new textbooks. A gift of $50 provides supplies and uniforms for a child. Every gift makes a difference in the life of a child.
